Life is Good

"Married." Chris thought aloud, "Never thought I'd get married, ya know?"

Matthew laughed, "I know. Me either."

Cierra hoped he'd be home a few floors down as well.

Chris grinned, "You make me very happy."

Cierra rode the elevator to his floor. If he was home, he wasn't answering.

"You make me very happy as well." Matthew kissed her.

She tried calling once more.

They smiled at each other and said some more mushy stuff.

Again, no answer. Cierra frowned as she entered her apartment. Justin sat on her couch glaring at the entrance.

"Oh hey." Cierra said.

"Hi." He snapped. His eyes burned a hole in her head.

"What is your problem?" Cierra asked, knowing fully well what it was.

"So we're not dating? Because you know you just told me to tell all of America I'm single." Justin hissed.

Cierra stared at them, "Yeah. Now you'll have about ten thousand more fans."

Justin scoffed, "It's not all about the fans, Cie. I want to be with you. I want EVERYONE to know. I am a SOUTHERN boy. I love my woman and I want the WORLD to know."

"Get our career stabilized then everyone can know." Cierra said simply, "I'm trying to HELP you."

Justin scoffed, "Fuck you, Cie." He stood up and walked to the elevator.

"Can we PLEASE talk about this like adults?" Cierra called after him.

He turned, "I just told you that I love you. You're more worried about our careers."

Cierra took a deep breath. She loved him but she didn't know if she should tell him.

She took too long to decide and he got in the elevator.

Tears started falling down her face.

She did what she always did. She called Chris.

Chris moved from laying cuddled into Matthew and grabbed her blackberry. "What's up love?"

Cierra cried silently as she told her.

"Come over." Chris said as she sat up and Matthew gave her a worried look. "Don't stay there all alone. Come here. Or we'll come there. Or just me. Whatever you want."

Cierra finally stopped crying, "I'll be okay. I just needed to tell someone."

Chris frowned, "Cie, why don't you just go find him?"

"I don't think he wants to be found." Cierra sighed.

"Men are stupid." Chris admitted and laughed slightly when Matthew glared at her, "They revert into themselves when something like this happens when really all you two need is communication."

Cierra sighed, "I should have just let him tell the whole fucking world he's mine.."

"It's not too late!" Chris pointed out, "You're his manager. You could release a statement..."

Cierra sighed, "Ugh..."

"I'll let you think about it. Call me or come by if you need me." Chris smiled before hanging up the phone.
