Overprivileged Underparented Life on the Upper East Side

Kel smiled, "I know. Doncha love him? He didn't even TRY. Oh...maybe he's gay." She looked at her sister and frowned.

"Archibald? Nah don't worry. He's not. Used to date Blair then Serena." Brighton said quickly. Kel gave her a funny look and her sister laughed, "I still read Gossip Girl over there in Europe."

Kel smiled, "I know. He's Chuck Bass's best friend, right?"

"Yeahh about Bass...I slept with him last night. Oops?" She giggled.

Kel giggled and climbed out of the bed. She pulled the robe closed as she stood. It wasn't anything new for the twins to see each other naked.

"You're such a slut!" She laughed as she joined her in the closet.

"Princeton was AWFUL. So boring." Brighton explained.

"Typical. Daddy did set that up after all." Kel smiled.

"I know right?" Brighton held up a dress but Kel shook her head so she kept looking, "Anyway I met Chuck at the bar. I totally brushed him off I mean what a typical player with a big ego but he found me on my awful date and I thought whatever it is just fun ya know? I mean it's only Chuck Bass."

She laughed, "Only Chuck Bass? Daddy will be appalled. Let's get breakfast somewhere. So hurry!"

Ten minutes later, they had found the perfect dress. Nate woke up and was slightly embarrassed that Brighton had seem him naked. He quickly got over it and went to eat breakfast with them.

On the way out of the hotel they bumped right into Chuck Bass, who was on his blackberry. "I'll call you back." And he hung up.

"You left." He said to Brighton as he blocked their way out the main doors.

"And your point is?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Hey Chuck." Nate cut in.

Chuck nodded at Nate.

"C'mon." Kel said as she rolled her eyes. She locked arms with Nate and her sister and pulled them away.

"Thanks I think I'll join." Chuck smirked as he followed, inviting himself.

"Yeah man of course." Nate said, oblivious to the tension.

Kel rolled her eyes. She let go of her sister. She knew that Bright could hold her own with Chuck.

"So, darling, wanna go shopping after this?" Kel asked Nate with a smile.

Brighton smiled at her sister. "So why'd you leave?" Chuck walked a little faster to be next to her.

"That's generally the procedure for a one night stand. You of all people should know that." She smirked.

"Sure, I just have to meet my grandfather later tonight." He smiled.

He raised an eyebrow. He was confused.

She nodded as if she didn't care, "Well, you and I have a date when you're free again. And shopping and then lunch today don't count."

Nate laughed, "You're perfect."

"I'm sorry. Have I missed something? We got drunk, we had fun, we had sex. I woke up in the morning and went home. Is this a problem?" She muttered.

"Glad you think so." Kel smiled, "You're pretty great yourself."

He stared at her, "Hm. No."

"Then quit whining."

He smiled and snuck a quick kiss.

Chuck smirked slightly, "I find you very interesting."

"Oh lucky me." She rolled her eyes.

Kel smiled slightly and winked at him.

He looked at her and laughed, "We'll see."

Nate couldn't believe how different she was from all of the other girls he'd liked. She was beautiful, sweet, caring and funny. He loved her already.

"Are you wearing coral pants?" She said suddenly.

"I'm Chuck Bass." He said simply.

"Fair enough." Brighton loved. "Hey, Kel! Lets go here." She pointed to a cafe they both used to love before they moved.

Kel and Nate promptly turned and walked inside.

They all sat. Kel and Brighton skimmed the menu but ultimately ordered the same thing, black coffee and fat free yogurt with strawberries. The guys gave each other a look as to say, 'I guess the rumors are true.' but the girls ignored it.

"So are you enjoying being back in New York?" Chuck asked the girls.

"It's only been twenty four hours." Brighton rolled her eyes.

"Must you be such a bitch." He scoffed.

"Yes." She smiled.

Kel covered a yawn with her hand and then sighed. She didn't eat but a bite of her food.

"Eat." Nate said as he stared her down. She flashed a smile at him.

"I had some room service before you woke." She lied. It was an easy lie.

"We ate together." Brighton smiled, who had only had a spoonful or two. Chuck glared slightly.

"Come downtown with me today." Chuck said to her.

"I'm busy, sorry." She shrugged.

"I don't see any trays tho-"

Nate was cut off, "Excellent staff at the Palace." She flashed a smile.

"Fine. What about tomorrow?" Chuck replied.

Nate frowned and she pushed his hair behind his ear.

"I promise."

"Also busy." Brighton sipped her coffee.

"The next day?" Chuck was losing his temper slightly. He wasn't used to being rejected.

"Just not interested." She said simply.

"Okay." He smiled. He fed her a piece of his breakfast from his fork which she swallowed and smirked.

Chuck glared at her, "Will you ever be interested?"

Kel forced herself to eat her yogurt and smiled at Nate. She planned to throw it all up.

"Maybe when I'm wasted at 3am on Friday night." She smirked.

"Where do you want to go shopping later?" Nate smiled.

Chuck couldn't help but smile, "Then you know I will be there."

"Everywhere." She laughed, "I have too much money to spend."
