The Boys Of Fall

She stared kissing him. So like any guy would when a hot girl is kissing him, he kissed back.

"Home." He muttered simply.

Josh put his hands on her waist and they sat on the bed kissing for a while. It felt so good to finally kiss her. Somehow they started to lean back and ended up laying down.

"I was having fun!" Morgan protested.

He pushed away and cleared his throat. He did not want this while she was drunk.

"Yeah, well Bruce was going to have his fun with you." Mark said. He was a little irritated.

"What?" She looked at him confused.

"You're drunk..." Josh said, "And honestly I'm really not. We should do this another time."

"I'm fine." Roxanne rolled her eyes and went to kiss him, but he gently moved and push her away. "Seriously?!" She snapped.

"I was fine!" Morgan said.

"Oh hush." Mark laughed, "Well now you're stuck hanging out with me."

Josh looked at her, "Yes."

"I'm totally fine with that. You're sexy." She said with a drunken giggle.

"Fine." Roxy adjusted her clothes slightly and stood up. She was embarrassed and annoyed, "I'm leaving."

"Rox! It's late." He called after her, "I'll walk you home." But it was too late she was out the door, by the time he got through the party and outside he didn't see her.

"Oh really?" He smirked.

He sighed and got in his vehicle. He looked for her.

Mark pulled up to her house, "C'mon." He said as he helped her out.

He finally found her when she was getting to her house on foot as well. Josh pulled to the side, "Roxanne!" He called.

"Good night, Josh." She went inside and slammed the door.

"Fuck." He mumbled.

"Is anyone home?" He asked her.

He took off to his house.

"Probably. My dad is a principal. What else would he be doing?" She laughed. He rolled his eyes and helped her into the house.

Roxanne's brother was sitting on the couch.

"What's eating you, drunky?" He laughed.

"Nothing." She grumbled and went to eat something.

"Upstairs." She said, explaining where her room was.

She was sobering up quick and in a hurry and didn't like it one bit.

He nodded and somehow managed to find her room. Principal Clanton walked out of his room and looked at Mark quizzically.

"Just getting her home safe, Sir." Mark said quickly.

She laid on the couch, next to where her brother was.

"This house is always so fucking empty without mom and dad." Roxanne mumbled.

He nodded and looked at his watch, "I expect you need a place to stay?"

Mark hung his head and nodded.


"Well, you can sleep on the couch. There's a blanket." The principal pointed toward the upstairs den.

He sighed and then slowly nodded.

"Thanks!" Mark said.

She got up. "I'm sorry." She kissed her brothers cheek. "I'm in a bad mood. I'm going to go to sleep. I love you."

"No. Thank you." He nodded at Mark and retired back to his room. Mark got Morgan into bed.

"Don't leave." She muttered as she started falling asleep.

"I love you too."

He decided he'd stay a few moments.

He sang softly until she fell asleep. Then he went to the couch and passed out.

The Next Day...

Josh and Mark met up at the bleachers to talk, it was the weekend so it was empty.

"Well, the principal likes me." Mark said with a laugh.

"That's good." He smiled. Josh glanced at his phone, Roxanne hadn't returned any of his calls or texts. He ran a hand through his hair, "Ugh..Last night didn't go so well for me, man."

"What happened?" Mark asked.

"Roxanne." Josh grumbled.

"You banged her finally?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No dude! You saw how wasted she was. We kissed a lot. That's it. I stopped it from going anywhere and I think she's pissed about it. Or embarrassed I don't know. She won't talk to me." He muttered.

Mark laughed obnoxiously, "That's because she is a whore and she's pissed that you didn't give it to her."

"Dude!" Josh snapped, "Stop fucking call her that! You barely know her!"

Mark rolled his eyes, "I apparently know her better than you."

"What the else is that supposed to mean?" Josh snapped.

"I fucked Roxanne. I fucked her for forty-eight hours, over and over." Mark said with a tone that suggested his cousin was an idiot.
