It's Never Once *SOA sequel*

"Like in three weeks." Natalie nodded. She smiled at everyone's surprised. She and Opie had decided on the date fairly quickly though.

"That's great." Delilah smiled.

"It's a lot to do." Natalie laughed.

"Sounds like it." She smiled.

"What are you ladies talking about?" Gemma said.

"Marriage. Weddings." Delilah smiled.

Gemma looked interested, "Are you and Jax getting married?"

"Oh..no!" Delilah said nervously, glancing at Jax hoping he'd answer her

"Eventually. Jesus ma. Anyway, it's Natalie and Opie we're talking about." Jax jumped in to save her.

She gave him a small smile and a very gracious look.

"Just asking, baby." Gemma smiled.

Jax grinned, "Someday it'll be us." He kissed Del.

Delilah laughed, "Anyway, I can't wait for your wedding Nat. I'm home all day so let me know if you need help planning."

Natalie laughed, "I'll take all the help I can get."

Delilah yawned, "I better get going and put this little guy down. Are you going to stay?" She asked Jax

He stood up, "Nah I'll go home with you."

"Whipped." Opie coughed jokingly.

Jax looked at Opie. With a twinkle in his eye, he said, "This is coming from the guy that snuck around to see his fiancee for a year.

Opie laughed, "Very very true!!"

"You're both whipped." Gemma laughed, "I will see you all tomorrow."

Everyone laughed with her. Opie went and collected his future wife and their daughter.

Later the next day..

Jax stopped at home in the afternoon. Connor was sleeping.

"I need to get a job or something, Jax." She said softly, "I am going crazy staying home every day."

Jax shrugged, "So get one baby. Mom will watch the baby."

"You wouldn't mind?" She asked.

"Whatever you want." Jac shrugged.

"Maybe I will use some of Daddy's money to take some college classes." Delilah thought aloud, she had inherited millions when he passed. "I do wish you'd let me pay some bills around here."

Jax looked at her pointedly, "That's the man's job. You just use your money to shop or whatever."

Delilah smiled slightly, "Okay babe."

He pulled her to him playfully, "I mean it. Let me take care of you."

"I will." She smiled and kissed him, "I've just been very reliant on you since my dad died. That's all."

"That was a choice I made."

She put her head on his chest, "I know.."

Jax kissed her hair, "I really love you baby."

"I love you too..." Delilah whispered, "The baby will be asleep a little longer. Take a nap with me before going back to work?"

"A nap?" He winked.
