"Yeah, he seemed nice." She muttered.

"He's very nice." Jake smiled as he kissed her forehead.


***********Two Weeks Later************

Jake sighed as he looked around for Madyn in Brighton's house. He'd been trying to find her for ten minutes because he wanted to talk to her about getting back together.

Madyn sighed as she kissed James Purefoy. They were having mad hot sex on the desk. She heard the door open and she looked up. Her eyes connected with Jake's and she opened her mouth to say something but James thrust into her just right and she moaned.

Jake slammed the door and walked towards the entrance.

Brighton pulled up into the drive way and saw Jake. She got out of the car quickly and called, "Jake! What is wrong?!"

He looked at her angrily, "You knew she was fucking him! Our fucking co-star. You fucking knew!"

Brighton look at him, confused, "She's fucking who?"

"James!" Jake shouted but even though he was shouting he looked like he was about to cry.

Brighton just hugged him, "It's going to be okay..."

Just at that moment Madyn came out. She was dressed and James followed her. He had a satisfied smile on his face. Jake started to pull away from Brighton and walk toward James. Brighton held onto his arm.

"James, you'd better leave." Madyn said softly before she intercepted Jake. Brighton let go of Jake and ushered James away. She knew what to expect.

Jake stared at Madyn, "What is your problem?" He snapped as he stared at her, tears still fresh in his eyes.

Madyn scoffed, "Jake...YOU broke up with me. I'm pretty sure it's okay for me to try and move on. Besides, it's not up to you who I fuck."

Jake bit his cheek and glared, "I can't stand you."

Madlyn smiled slightly, "Then I suppose it doesn't matter to you that I am screwing James Purefoy. And I have ever day for the last two weeks. Two times a day."

Jake couldn't help but turn away from her. The rage was burning in his eyes.

"What's this? Jealousy? YOU aren't allowed to be jealous now." Madyn snapped. She walked towards him and shoved him a little, "YOU accused me of screwing my best friend. And then he died and you wouldn't apologize. I love you. I never loved Orlando like that. At least I never accused you of screwing Bright. But I bet you have."

"You are a pathetic immature little girl." Jake snapped.

Brighton just looked at her sister, who knew full well she and Jake had never slept together. "Really Maddie. Grow up. We all lost someone we loved. I lost the love of my life. Go to hell." With that she went into her house.

"You need to leave." Madyn snapped back before she followed her sister, "Bright! Don't be mad. I was just trying to hurt him. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

Brighton took a deep breath, "Maddie just give me ten minutes."

Her sister simply nodded and walked to the den.

Brighton sat on the floor and cried. She missed Orlando.

She felt almost bad for having even thought Joaquin was cute.

She took a few minutes and got up to find her sister.

Madyn was sitting in the study. She was reading one of Orlando's favorite books.

Brighton sat down with her and moved the book. "I know you didn't mean to hurt my feelings. It's okay."

Madyn smiled at her, "Good. I love you a lot."

Brighton hugged her, "I love you too. Let's go out tonight. We'll get dinner. I'll call a babysitter."

Madyn grinned, "Yay!"

"How well do you know Joaquin?" She asked.

Madyn shrugged, "Rather well. He's a great guy."

Brighton nodded quietly.

"Why?" Maddie smiled.

"Oh no reason. He introduced himself to me the other day."

"Oh. Well, he's a sweetheart."

Brighton smiled slightly, "Make up with Jake? Please?"

Madyn sighed, "I don't know."

"Please Maddie. Its time. We're all hurting. It will be easier for us if we can all just get along. Jake's part of this family." Brighton hugged her sister.
