Chaos Called Creation

"Hey everyone." Jon waved.

"Thank you for bringing Caden home." Hayden smiled.

"She called me. She was ready to come." Jon smiled as he sat down and Jackson crawled from Tamara to him. London scowled at Jon from across the room but Hayden slapped his arm gently and he stopped.

"Anyone want anything to eat? I'll make dinner." Shae offered as she stood up.

"Well, we're in a fight right now. It's stupid and about Caden and Jon. But overall he's not much of a problem." She laughed slightly.

"I'll help." Jon and Tamara said at the same time. Tamara smiled at her son and they stood up and followed Shae into the kitchen.

Orlando laughed, "I'm sure he's not a problem for you. Just your daddy."

Shae started looking through the cabinets taking things out. "So how have you been Tam?" She asked.

"How are you feeling today?" Caden asked her father as Jackson moved into her lap.

Jessica laughed, "Yeah he's taking a while to get used to the idea of me having a boyfriend."

"Cut him some slack. You're his little girl." Orlando said.

Tamara smiled, "Fairly good. I've been thinking about renovating the house in Wisconsin for something worthwhile...like an orphanage or something to the liking."

"Good as can be expected." Hayden said with a smile.

Jess couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"That sounds great. Jonathan, what about you?" Shae smiled slightly.

"Daddy is going to be just fine!" Jackson chirped.

"I know..." Caden smiled slightly. Then she quickly frowned when he father coughed. "I'll get you some water, Dad."

She got up and walked into the kitchen, "Dad needs water." She mumbled as she reached for a glass.

They pulled into the restaurant's parking lot.

ONE MONTH LATER

"DAMN IT TAMARA! HOW COULD YOU FUCKING LET HIM DO THAT!" Orlando shouted as he stood in front of his ex. She stared at him and raised an eyebrow.

"What the fuck are you going on about?" She finally said.

"Our son has joined the freaking navy." He spat out. Tamara's eyes widened.

"What?"

"Jonathan joined the navy." Orlando exclaimed.

"You're kidding me, right?" Caden muttered from the passenger seat of Jon's car. The two were hanging out as usual, just as friends.

"No." He shook his head.

"You're so fucking stupid! People die all the time, Jonathan! MY dad is dying and he can't help it I watch my mother die a little everyday seeing the man she loves so sick and you're going to put yourself in danger! You could just be throwing your chance away!" Caden snapped as she got out and slammed the door. She started walking towards the beach they were parked at. Jon shook his head and ran after her.

"Caden!" He shouted as he put his hands on her shoulders and turned him around to face him.

"No! It's not fair. I can't be-" Before she could finish he captured her lips in a passionate kiss.

Shae slipped into the bathroom with a glass of water for Hayden. He had just vomited, a side affect of the chemo.

"Here love..." She handed it to him and she rubbed his back, "You okay?"

"I'm fine. I told you don't worry." He muttered. "I'm fine."

She knelt on the floor hugged him and kissed his forehead, "Okay baby." She whispered as she felt her heart break into a million tiny pieces.

Tamara stared at her ex, "No...But he's legal so why are you bitching at me?"

Her arms wrapped around his neck.

Hayden pulled her close and sighed.

"I don't want my son in the navy." He said sternly.

"Orlando, you don't get to pick. He's twenty years old."

As they kissed Jonathan picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist. He moved them to the lifeguard hut, he used to work at the beach in the summers growing up, it was night now. No one would be in there. He laid her down on the bed as they kissed, they both knew it was wrong be neither wanted to pull way from the kiss.

Jackson busted into the bathroom and hugged his father, "Hi Daddy! I missed you today!" He had been playing with a friend. "Hi mommy!" He kissed her cheek.

Orlando glared at her, "Why don't you give a fuck?"

Tamara rolled her eyes, "Shut up! My children are my life and I care that he signed up without talking to me BUT there is nothing we can do about it now."

Hayden smiled weakly at his son.

Orlando nodded and put his head in his hands. She was right.

Caden let him as she kissed his neck, one hand unbottoned his shirt.

He sighed as Tamara slipped her arms around him.

Quickly enough, they were both undressed.

He let her hold him for a moment.

Jon stopped kissing her for a moment and looked down at her.

"Make love to me." She whispered. She also had a feeling she'd lose her virginity to Jon, if he'd have her of course.

"Excuse me." Shae said as Hayden started to get up. She went to their bedroom and closed the door just in time to collapse on the floor hysterical crying.

Orlando pulled away slightly and looked down at Tamara, "You know...I never stopped loving you Tams."

She smiled at him sadly, "I know, sweetheart." Slowly, Orlando leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips.

She knew she needed her best friend at that moment, so she picked up a phone to call Tamara.

Her cellphone rang before she could respond to Orlando's gesture.

"Hello?" She answered it immediately, stepping back from him.

"Yes." She whispered and kissed his neck.

"Tams, I need you."

Caden and Jon made love on the beach.

"I will be there in five minutes. You home?" Tamara asked.

"Yes." Shae muttered.

"Okay, stay there." Tam said sweetly.

Jon helped her in his arms afterwards. "Don't leave." Caden whispered softly.

Tamara looked at Orlando, "I am going to pretend that never happened. I don't love you anymore. You broke my fucking heart and your best friend unintentionally picked up the pieces."

Jon sighed, "I'm not going anywhere."

'I mean by joining up." She replied.

"It is already done honey." Jon said softly.

"Tam I've been relentlessly in love with you for just over twenty years!" Orlando exclaimed.

"I can't get by without you..." Caden held him a little tighter. She never opened up to people like this.

Tamara shrugged, "And I have been in love with Dom for twenty years."

Jon sighed, "I will be back dear."

"I have to go..." Tam added.

Caden sighed, "Well you don't leave for bootcamp for a few months...."

Orlando just stared at her as she left.

Jon smiled, "Yes. That is true at least."

Jon looked at her once more, "I want to be with you Caden...I always have."

She sighed, "Then why didn't you do something about it?"

Jon kissed her forehead, "Because love everyone thinks I'm too old for you. Our families are close. I would never want to mess it up with you."

"Don't be scared." Caden said.

"I'm not anymore. I want you all to myself." He smiled.
