"I just wouldn't like mother caught wind of it just yet." Thomas advised.

Sophia nodded as they walked a little through the heavy snow. "Also, it is rather beautiful."

She snorted, "I am not stupid. Although, I'm sure she'd be quite content to marry me off to this rich gentleman."

"Yes it is." He said, not taking his eyes from her.

Thomas nodded, "She would be."

Sophia noticed and blushed slightly. Then she picked up some snow and giggled as she threw a snowball at him.

Emma winked at him, "Why don't you go spend time with Matthew. I'll prepare something good for lunch."

He laughed in surprised and then a full-on snow fight began.

Thomas nodded as smiled. He went to find Matthew.

James laughed as they eventually accidentally toppled into the snow.

"My apologies, Miss!" He chuckled as he quickly got off her and helped her off.

"I believe I won that!" Sophia teased.

Thomas eventually found his friend, "So...what do you think about my sister?"

"If you won anything, it's because I let you win." He teased.

"I think she's wonderful." He said quietly.

"Oh there's no satisfaction in that!" Sophia laughed.

Thomas nodded, "Then do the right thing. Don't break her heart or just get her into bed."

"That was never my intention." Matthew replied, almost defensively.

Thomas sighed, "I've just seen you do it."

He luaghed along with her, "Maybe not."

"We all have." Matthew pointed out, "Men tend to make a lot of mistakes until then meet the right woman."

Sophia giggled as she brushed snow off his hair. Their eyes locked for a minute.

Thomas bristled slightly, "Yes. But everyone isn't my sister."

He leaned toward her.

Matthew smiled slightly, "I promise to do right by her."

As did Sophia then her senses came to her and she pulled back, "Charms haven't worked on me yet." She smiled.

The two men nodded an understanding and went separate ways.

He just started laughing. Then he grabbed a handful of snow.

"No!" Sophia laughed as she ran from him playfully.

He tackled her into the snow, this time on purpose. He leaned into kiss her but they were interrupted by the ring of a bell.

"Must be time for lunch." Sophia breathed, James still on top of her, supporting his weight with his arms as to not crush her.

She stood up and composed herself.

James brushed himself off as well. He smiled at her, though on the inside he was cursing that bell. When they got inside they took their coats off, luckily their clothes hadn't gotten wet. Sophia cheeks were pink.

He actually felt something for this girl that he had never felt for anyone before her.

They all sat at the table. "Enjoy the weather?" Thomas asked politely.

Everyone nodded, "We could always arrange a sleigh ride or something." Emma said suggestively.

"We should." Sophia smiled.
