She sighed but let him in.

"Let's go upstairs." Orlando said. Roxy and him went into one of the guest bedrooms to give Dom and Jessica privacy.

"I'm so cold." Roxy frowned and as she laid on the bed.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Jessica asked.

"I'll get blankets." Orlando had watched Dom go through this too many times.

"Here." He handed her a hard cover copy of his book, "just read it. I'll leave the release forms. And my number's written in it."

He came back quickly. Orlando laid a blanket over her.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"Can I lay with you?" He offered. Roxy nodded. Orlando gently put an arm around her but she winced and moved away.

"Bruises!" Roxy cried.

"Oh. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize." Orlando said. He looked at the pain in her face, he slowly lifted her shirt and his eyes widened, "Oh my god. Roxy you need to see a doctor. You could have broken ribs."

"No no." She said quickly.

Jessica looked at him, "Am I going to like what I read?"

Orlando rolled his eyes, "I'm going to have a doctor come."

Dom looked at her, "just read it."

Roxy bite her lip and nodded.

"He feel needs to take a look love." Orlando said softly.

"I know." She muttered, "It REALLY hurts."

"Okay." Jessica sighed.

Orlando called the doctor.

Dom left and Jess went up to her bedroom. She got into her pj's and curled up In bed with the book.

The doctor came and looked at Roxy. "Dear god, how did this happen?!"

Orlando gave a brief explanation.

"Well dear, you're lucky. They're not broken. However, they're severely bruised. You're going to be extra careful. And I have to ask, do you want me to report this?" The doctor said.

"No." She said quickly.

He wrapped up her ribs and prescribed pain pills.

"You're going to hold on to those pills aren't you?" Roxy sighed, the doctor had given him the bottle.

"Yes I am." He said sternly.

"Great." She rolled her eyes.

He gave her the amount the doctor said.

"You know, I don't even know how long I'm staying. I may just go back to NY." Roxy said.

"You can consider yourself kidnapped then."

"Are you serious?" She said.

"Very serious." Orlando sighed, "Don't tell me you're seriously considering going back with that asshole?"

Roxy just shrugged.

Orlando sighed, "you can do better, love."

"It's complicated. Everything with Ryan is complicated." She said, with tears in her eyes.

"A man that loves you will never lay his hand on you."

"Can I have one of those painkillers?" She asked.

"Nice try. I just gave you some." Orlando replied.

"It still hurts!" She pouted.

"Well, dear give it more than fifteen minutes to work." Orlando sighed.

She rolled her eyes, "fine"

"You're shaking again." Orlando covered her with a blanket, "Let's take a nap."

"That sounds nice."
