Sunshine and Rainy Days

Lynne laughed, "I lost my virginity to Matt. He sucked. I guess that was a long time ago though."

Dani sighed, "Let's head back to the cabin and eat something. We still have 5 days before the campers come."

"Yeah, I'm starving." Lynne smiled and they walked, hoping to not see the guys.

It was just their luck that the boys were there. But they were already cooking.

"I hope you weren't an asshole and just making that for yourself." Dani said as she walked up, closely to Jared, to look around him and see that he was making a stir-fry.

"There's enough for all of us." Matt interrupted as Lynne laid on one of the beds.

Jared curled his arm around her, "I am sorry for what I did. Now forgive me."

Dani laughed and pulled away.

"You're an idiot." Dani laughed.

Dani hated how much she liked Jared.

Matt strummed his guitar while Lynne avoiding looking at him.

Dani and Jared stood around in the little kitchen and talked.

Matt played "Sweet Mary" by Chris Velan.

"That's my favorite song." Lynne said softly.

Matt nodded, "I know that."

"How could you possibly?" She snapped

Jared grinned as he finished the food. He made Dani a plate before himself.

"Now you have manners?"

"The lyrics are your facebook status a lot..." He muttered.

"Oh." Lynne tried not to smile.

"Dani, we were in 7th grade...give it up." Jared said.

She couldn't help but smile though.

Dani rolled her eyes and they went out on the porch to eat on the porch swing.

"Are you still dating whatsherface?" Lynne asked, referring to the girl he cheated on her with.

"No. We broke up six months ago." Matt said quietly.

"We were young. It was a long time ago..." Jared said.

She smirked slightly.

"Don't fucking rub it in." He snapped at her.

Dani put her bowl down on a table and leaned into him. Jared wrapped an arm around her and let her put her head on his shoulder.

"I'll stop holding the grudge when you prove yourself trustworthy." Dani grumbled finally. Jared rolled his eyes.

"I didn't say anything." Lynne shrugged.

"Whatever." Matt grumbled.

"Fine." Jared eventually muttered.

Dani smirked, "You can prove your trustworthiness by NOT kissing me."

He laughed slightly, "Okay okay..."

"That doesn't sound very fun..." Jared grumbled.

"I was so young and stupid." Matt explained.

"It was two years ago...we weren't that young..." Lynne said.

"Lynne..." He said softly.

Lynne sighed, "Yeah okay I guess we've all grown up a lot."

Dani laughed and they swung for a little while.

He nodded at her, "I just wish you would put it behind you."

"It is behind me! Why do you insist it's not? I completely forgive you. Maybe I just don't like you much." Lynne snapped.

He frowned as he looked at her, "I was an asshole. I want your forgiveness."

"Why are you here? Don't tell me any lies." She replied.

Matt sighed, "I don't want to talk about it."

"Fine. Bye." Lynne went to stand up.

Matt pulled her back down to sit on the bed, "Fine." He proceeded to tell a long story about he and his football buddies playing a prank which accidentally let to someone getting injured seriously.

"Was Jared a part of that?" She asked.

"Duh.."

"We'll you're both assholes." Lynne smiled slightly and he could tell she was teasing.
