She moaned slightly.

"Fuck me." Noelle breathed.

So he did.

Hugh smiled as he lit up a cigarette. Noelle looked at him and laughed.

"How cliche!"

Then she took it and took a drag, "Guess there's benefits to immortality."

Hugh chuckled, "Is Elias going to sense what just happened?"

"Well, no. We aren't like werewolves. If we wanna be whores it is fine. Wait, does this mean we are mated for life?"

He laughed, "No. I already had my mate."

"I won't be here much longer anyway." She scoffed.

Hugh looked at her, "Don't be pissed. She died. We only have one mate. Two if we get really lucky."

"I could careless who you sleep with, Hugh. I was just stating the facts. I won't be here much longer anyway." She shrugged.

"Where would you escape to? Back to your 'lord'? Well, no you fucking won't. He's the one that killed Mya, my mate, in the first place. So you will not be going back. Get that through your stubborn fucking head."

Noelle sat up, "I don't want to go back to him. I just want to get far far away from here. I don't want to be in a coven."

"This isn't a coven." He replied calmly, "It's a tribe. I know, same concept. But it's much better here. Yes, we have our rulers. But they aren't like yours. We can do practically anything we'd like."

"Well it's not like I'm going to stay here with a bunch of dogs forever." She rolled her eyes.

Hugh shrugged, "Why not? We could always protect you against him. Forever."

"Because I'm sick of being trapped up in stupid fucking castles." She muttered.

Hugh thought for a moment, "We have regular homes too. This is just where about a hundred of us live. I am a bodyguard to our future queen, Dani. We have human servants and etc. It's nice. But if you wanted, I'm sure Dani would let us go to one of the homes."

"You're not getting it. I'm with Elias. Then I'm stuck here with you. I don't want to belong to ANYONE anymore." She snapped.

Hugh chuckled, "I don't think YOU get it. You don't belong to me or anyone here just because I stole you. I know you won't go back to him if you escape. You don't seem to realize, if you escape, and he finds you. Then you are dead."

Noelle just pouted.

"Don't be a child." Hugh chuckled.

"I'm not!"

He kissed her cheek, "If you say so."

Noelle melted slightly, "Stop making me like you." She leaned against him.

Hugh smiled, "Part of my charm." He winked at her.

"You drive me crazy." She muttered against his lips.

Hugh grinned and then kissed her back.
