Twilight/Vampire Fic

Carlisle shook his head, "No it wouldn't. Suppose that I reacted to you leaving as Christina did to Edwad's leaving."

Cierra laughed, "You wouldn't. You're much stronger than that. You're not a human."

Carlisle shrugged, "I am human when it comes to you." Cierra stopped walking at held onto his wrist.

"What about the others?" Cierra asked, already knowing that she was leaving anyway.

Edward smiled slightly, "Back to that already."

"They'll be fine." Carlisle said, "We can all defend ourselves."

"If you don't want to be with me forever then fine."

Cierra knew Daniel better than any one of them. He was afterall the vampire who'd turned her brutally after courting her for a year. She'd had no idea he was even a vampire. Lately, Cierra had been having nightmares. She knew that Daniel was projecting them in her mind.

Edward frowned, "It's not that easy. It's such a painful procedure."

Carlisle took her in his arms.

"I don't mind." She smiled.

"I know sweetheart." Edward replied, "I just...don't want to put you in such pain."

"Living without you must be worse." She sighed.

Edward nodded and smile at her.

One Month Later

"Edward?" Christina said as she walked into the apartment they shared. Every time she left she feared he'd be gone when she returned.

"Kitchen." He called.

Cierra opened her eyes, frozen with fear. She jumped up and pulled on a pair of jeans, a hoodie and running shoes. She was leaving.

Christina walked into and gave him a light kiss.

She knew she had too.

"What are you cooking for?" She asked

"You." He smiled.

"Aw....when are you gonna change me?"

"Can't we go a day without talking about it?" Edward sighed.

Put-off Christina shrugged, "Sorry."

"You know I'll love you forever." He kissed her neck.

"And then I'll die." She stated.

Edward frowned, "At least you won't be like us. Ask Cierra, Carlisle...any of us. It isn't as wonderful as you think."

"At least I would be turned by someone I love!" She said angrily.

Edward wrapped his arms around her, "We can discuss this later, love."

She frowned, "Fine, whatever."

Cierra paced the room and sighed. How could she leave him?

They kissed until Edward couldn't take it anymore and had to pull away slightly.

"See that wou-" Christina started.

"CHRIS! PLEASE!" Edward said coldly.

It was the hardest thing she ever had to do.

Chris frowned and stormed off.

"Darling!" Edward called as he searched the apartment for her. Christina didn't answer as she sat in the corner of their bedroom. Edward found her and sat next to her. She was staring at the scars left on her wrists from when she tried to kill herself. "I wish I could make all those go away..." He whispered, as she allowed him to get closer.

"Me too."

Cierra ran, as hard and fast as she could.

Cierra was glad that everyone was gone that night. No one would know to look for her. Rosalie and Alice were in Paris. Carlisle, Emmet and Jasper were hunting. Edward and Chris were at their home.

Edward sighed, "Do you have any idea how much I love you?"

Carlisle stopped suddenly, causing Jasper and Emmet to collide.

"What is it?" Emmet asked as he looked at his father.

"She's gone." He muttered.

"What?" Jasper asked, he didn't follow.

"Cierra. She's gone." Carlisle breathed.

"More than anything?" She teased.

Edward smiled and traced his fingers around the palm of her hand, "I want to show you the whole world..."

Christina smiled, "You know I'd go anywhere with you."

Carlisle turned and started towards the house. Jasper and Emmet shared a look. It would be a 3 hour run.
