Somebody That I Used to Know *Bam/Johnny fic*

Two Days Later...

Johnny glared at Brie, "Does it really fucking take you so much effort to get the FUCK on the plane? We're so late."

"Quit whining." She muttered. She was in so much pain. Not that she would tell him, but she and some of the guys had been practicing and she'd wiped out pretty bad.

Finally they were seated on the jet. Bam tossed each person a beer.

"Vacation has officially started." He smiled.

Brie gratefully downed the beer. Bam stared at her.

"Uh...sis....what tha fuck?"

Brie sighed. She stood up and pulled her shirt up to reveal a scrape that ran from her ribs down into her pants. Johnny stared in shock.

"I'm going to kill them!" Bam exclaimed. He was allowed to pick on his sister but he couldn't stand it when she got hurt.

"It wasn't their fault. I messed up. Anyway, Johnny wants to talk to you." Brie said to quickly take the focus away from her.

"So talk." Bam raised an eyebrow obnoxiously.

Johnny glared at his fiancee, "She and I are getting married." Bam's eyes flew to his sister's ring finger and then his pissed off gaze turned to his best friend.

"I don't FUCKING think so!"

"Yes we are." Johnny said.

"Well keep fucking talking because this came out of no where." Bam snapped.

Johnny shrugged, "I can't imagine being with anyone else."

"Oh LORD. You're doing this for your kid. You are so completely selfish!!" Bam exclaimed. The girls watched the argument and text each other silently.

Finally the argument ended with Bam yelling, "FUCKING FINE! Just stop talking about it. I want to enjoy my vacation."

"So you now except Grace and I to room together?" Bam snapped at Johnny.

Johnny rolled his eyes, "It's a fucking suite. I'm sure there is plenty of room."

"I think I need another beer." Grace said quickly.

"Me too." Bam glared.

"Bam, do you have an pain meds?" Brie muttered suddenly. He nodded at her before he gave her a couple.

"Make them last." He said softly. It wasn't well known but Brie had once been very addicted to pills.

Brie nodded. It was an awkward long plane ride to Bali. By the time they were there the tension had eased a little.

The first thing Brie did was order several cocktails. She was not in a good mood. Her brother had gotten her to thinking.

Bam and Grace walked into their suite.

"What kind of suite has one fucking bedroom?!" Grace bitched.

Brie couldn't help but wonder if this was a good idea.

Bam snickered, "YOU booked them."

"You certainly cannot put the blame on me here." She replied.

Johnny watched her silently as she downed the drinks.

"Brie...I do love you." He said softly. And he did. He didn't realize yet that he couldn't live with out her and that he had used his daughter and her plight as an excuse to get Brie to be his own.

"Sure can." He laughed.

"This is going to be a long two weeks." Grace grumbled. "You're sleeping on the couch."

"I know but you don't love me the way you should." She said, assuming he was referring to their friendship.

Bam shrugged, "I doubt it."

Johnny shook his head, "A lot more than you think."

"Be a gentleman." Grace said simply.

"Not my style." He smirked.

"Then go meet some chick because I'm not sharing the bed with you." She said.

"I don't know if this is such a good idea anymore."

Bam rolled his eyes, "I'm paying for a suite. They can bring me a cot. I'm not sleeping on the damn couch."

"That's the alcohol." Johnny muttered before he kissed her. He hadn't realize the important stuff but he did realize that he would do anything to keep her around.

"Fine." Grace opened the mini fridge, "Want a drink?"

"Yes!" Bam mumbled.

"I don't know.." Brie sighed.

"Shh..don't let Bam make you doubt this."

He watched her intently as she walked across the room.

Johnny kissed her. IT wouldn't be the first time they'd had sex but it would be the first sober.

"What?" She asked pointedly.

"Nothing your butt looks good in those jeans." He smirked.

"Ya know..I could sue you for sexual harassment in the work place." Grace laughed.

Her heart skipped a beat at his kiss.

Bam laughed, "Should I apologize?"

It quickly turned into sex and it was amazing.

"Don't think it'd hold up in a court of law." Grace teased.

"What now? Hit the beach? The bar?" Bam asked.

"Well...." Brie breathed with her head on his chest.

"I want Brie to go with us." Grace said sweetly. Bam nodded.

Twenty minutes later, they were all heading to the beach.
