Shia smiled, "I'm glad you like it."

"L.A. is so different from New York City." Ryanne looked around.

"This one is beautiful!" Tyler held up a dress.

Shia nodded, "Yes it is."

"Try it on." Colin laughed

"New Yorkers are born and bread to hate L.A." Ryanne teased, "But it's not too bad, just a little superficial."

Tyler smiled and ducked into the changing room. When she emerged Colin's jaw dropped.

Shia laughed, "Do you want to get a bite to eat before we go home? Or we can make something there because there's a lot to show you when we get there."

Tyler smiled at him, "This is so the dress. Now let's get a veil. Then we're going back to the house. You can drive. And I am going to go to sleep."

"I can cook at the house." Ryanne offered.

"You really look beautiful." Colin said handing her a veil.

Shia smiled, "Okay, it's going to seem like I am just full of questions BUT do you want to go get stuff for it at the store or find stuff in the cabinets?"

She put it on and smile, "Super. Now at least the costume designer or set won't have to get this."

Colin laughed, "Oh, there isn't a costume designer. Shia wants the movie to feel real. We get make-up artists but we get to pick our own clothes, if he approves of them anyway.."

"I'm sure whatever is around is fine." Ryanne said. When they arrived home Ryanne insisted on cooking so Shia sat on the counter watching some of her footage on her laptop.

"Where'd you shoot this bit?" Shia pointed to the footage of shacks, beautiful beaches, and surfers.

"Indonesia." Ryanne said, adding some spice to the sauce.

"When'd you go there?" He asked, "This footage is great."

"I got back two months ago. I spent two months there with my brother and some friends." Ryanne answered, "I had just broken off my engagement and needed to get away. So I begged him to let me come. It was great, such a good experience."

"So you were engaged..." He seemed a little put off, "Why'd you break it off?" Shia wasn't shy.

"When you're with someone for such a long time little bits of you fad away. Then you start chipping little bits of yourself off to fit with that person better...and eventually you're just not you anymore." She said, she didn't mind answering. "So I broke it off...spent time recovering in Indonesia making films...that's why alot of them are surf films."

"That's great..really different..." Tyler replied.

Shia smiled, "I just have to say that if I were your fiancee, I would hate if you changed to fit me."

Colin shrugged, "This is going to be a different type of movie." He leaned over and kissed her cheek.

"What?" She replied as she stared at him.

He laughed, "There was a razzi outside so I wanted to give them a good pic."

Ryanne smiled, "That's sweet but you don't know me very well. You could hate me." She teased.

"I doubt it." Shia said, scrolling through more film. He concluded the young woman lived a very interesting life.

She blushed slightly then replied, "I've only been in LA a few hours and I'm already going to be in a magazine."

"Get used to it." Colin chuckled.

Shia smiled as he glanced up at her.

She went to change and then they bought the dress. Afterwards, they grabbed a hamburger and went back to the house. Tyler fell asleep almost immediatley, although it was quite early for American time.

Shia and Ryanne ate and talked about everything. They got to know each other, know about their families, likes, dislikes, relationships. It turned out they had a lot in common. Ryanne went to change and was dancing around to her favorite song in a tank top and boyshorts when Shia barged in without thinking to tell her something. Ryanne turned bright red and stopped.

"Oh don't stop on my account. I dance around to 'Sour Cherry' by The Kills in my underwear all the time." Shia made light of the situation but could tell she was still embarassed. He eyed her body, which he liked very much and began to take off his shirt.

"What are you doing?" Ryanne laughed.

"Evening out the wardrobe." He said, taking off his pants standing in only his boxers. The two danced around like idiots for twenty minutes before crashing onto her bed in a fit of laughter.

Colin sat outside. He couldn't stop thinking about the new beautiful woman in this life.

"God, I am so glad they picked you!" Shia grinned.

He inhaled on his cig and smiled. Seeing her in a wedding dress had made him wonder if he would ever settle down.

"I'm glad the director was you! You look much better in your underwear than any Coppola." Ryanne laughed.

He wanted to go wake her up, he wanted to know everything about her but he knew he should let her sleep.

Shia laughed, "I think you look better than any girl I've seen in her underwear...and I've seen quite a few."

After he finished his cig, he walked inside to shower.

"Maybe you shouldn't be in my bed then...too many STD infested girls out here." Ryanne laughed.

"I didn't say I slept with all of them." he laughed, "But I am checked regularly...for everything possible."

"Good to know." Ryanne winked. Shia thought to himself, 'Damn I'm really into this girl...'

"So, tomorrow, the four of us will go to breakfast and you and I can discuss the movie.." Shia said softly, "It will be a busy day for you and I because we have to meet with some producers and then the four of us will be together again for lunch and then to pick some more actors." Shia said as he explained the next day.

"Wow this really is so crazy." Ryanne said, "I'm used to making films with unemployed actors and having to do everything myself."

Shia laughed, "Yeah...this will be strange for you because I am not going to run the set like other directors. There won't be a costume designer. We're skimping on her and just buying some outfits. It'll allow us other things. Besides, this movie won't need anything fancy."

Ryanne smiled, "You're so different then how I thought you'd be."

Shia smiled, "How so?"

Tyler woke suddenly and was frightenend. She thought she'd had a nightmare. Yawning, she got out of the bed and stretched. Eventually she found Colin's room. Colin looked up at her when she entered and dog-eared the book he had been reading.

"Hey...uhm, can I sleep with you? I mean, in here with you." Tyler was blushing slightly. Colin smiled and motioned for her to join him.

"Why can't you sleep? Is your bed uncomfortable?" Colin asked sweetly.

"I kind of thought you would be a dick." Ryanne said boldly.

"I had a nightmare." She blushed slightly.

Shia seemed a little surprised, "Why?"

Colin smiled, "That's probably the result of jet lag and sleeping in a new place."

Ryanne blushed, "Sorry you know just stupid gossip magazines and everything. I was clearly very very wrong."

Tyler sat on the bed and nodded.
