"Really?" She asked softly.

"And they say city girls are no fun." Luke teased.

"Honey, I'm from the city that never sleep. I know how to have fun." She splashed him.

She leaned her head against his shoulder, "You had a funny way of showing in, Benjamin."

He laughed, "Well....if I'd realized you gotten freaking hot I would have been here instead of getting in trouble!"

Luke laughed, 'I've visited New York. It's different."

She rolled her eyes, "You really have a way with words."

Chris nodded, "I kind of just quit my life there."

"How so?" He asked.

"Well, I dumped my boyfriend. Deferred my law school admission. Sold my apartment and most of my things." Chris sighed.

"I'm an underwear model. Not a braniac." He joked.

"You sure do love braggin'. But you can't like to me. I know you went to college and you are pretty smart." She smiled. It was funny to her that he couldn't bullshit her.

"That so? Why?" Luke asked.

"Can't get a thing past you, can I?" Ben chuckled.

"Sure can't." Jade smiled.

She shrugged, "Got bored? You know, I honestly just woke up one day and realized..I wasn't happy. I don't believe in waiting for happiness, you have to go make it. So I changed what made me unhappy."

The two sat there for a while longer, just talking. For the first time in eleven years, they had a heart-to-heart conversation.

"That would make a good country song." Luke smiled, "Thanks for the idea. I'll have to credit you when I get famous."

Ben kept thinking about kissing her.

"You play?" Chris asked.

"Yes ma'am." Luke smiled, "One day you'll see me at the CMAs."

"Jade..." He muttered. She look at him and smiled.

"What?"

"Would it be okay if I kissed you?"

"Play me something?" She requested.

Jade nodded slowly as Ben leaned in. He kissed her softly at first, as if testing the waters.

"Sure." Luke grinned, "Lets dry off and I'll grab my guitar." They started to walk out of the river, only wearing their underwear.

Luke tried to be a gentleman but couldn't help sneaking a few peeks.

"Come on." Chris waved him on, "Show me what you can do with that guitar."

He couldn't help but laugh before he got situated with the guitar. Chris was in awe as he began playing.

She watched his fingers strum the cords then asked, "Teach me?"

Luke smiled and motioned her closer. He taught her the basics pretty quickly.

"You're a natural." He smiled.

"Haha. I try. Teach me a song!"

"Blackbird by The Beatles is only a few chords we'll start with that." Luke said.

"Sounds good!" Chris was eager to learn.

Luke smiled at her. He wasn't the dating type, simply because he hadn't found anyone worthy. But he really liked this female from New York.

"I should probably find my brother and friend." Chris said, realizing hours had passed.

"At least let me get your number, please." He was charming.

She nodded and quickly exchanged numbers. She didn't really figure he'd call or anything. Somethings were just to good to be true. Chris called Jade and the trio met up at the truck. It was actually quite surprising that they were all sober.

"Have a good night?" Ben asked his sister.

"You could say that." She smirked.

"You?" She added as an afterthought. He grinned and nodded.

Soon enough they were all home. They dragged their tired butts up the stairs yawning.

Ben quietly followed Jade towards her room. She looked at him like he was an idiot for a moment before allowing him in. She warned him not to touch her though.

Chris watched them and smiled slightly. If her brother was to date anyone, she would want it to be Jade.

As she laid down to bed, she got a text. Good night, beautiful. It was great to meet you. She smiled before texting back a good night and falling asleep.
