A Leap of Fate

The kiss got a little more intense.

Cady looked at him and touched his face softly, "I love you." She muttered.

"Let's just stay in and chat." Will begged slighty. Cady nodded.

Harry's hand roamed down her side. He paused when Aubrey started to lift off his sweater. She looked up at him confused, "I just won't want you to think we have to do this." Harry said, "It doesn't matter that we're engaged, we don't have to do this right now." He blurted out.

"Harry?" Aubrey smiled.

"Yeah?"

"That's very sweet. But shut up." With that she kissed him again.

They sat on the couch, there was a moment of silence.

Harry's hands began to roam.

"I'm sorry. I don't just want to marry you because of the baby." Will said softly.

For the first time they realized, they really had chemistry.

Cady sighed, "I am just not ready."

harry began to remove her pants. He looked at her for approval.

Will sighed, "why not?"

"I don't want to yet. That's why!" She snapped, "I don't want to wonder if it's because of the baby."

They two had sex in the clearing, amazing sex. Aubrey rested her head on Harry's chest afterwards.

William sighed, "How far along are you?"

Harry sighed softly.

"Like nine weeks." She replied softly. Will frowned.

"Marriage isn't an option?"

"No!" She exclaimed. Will laughed.

"Okay. We'll figure it out, day by day."

"We should probably put some clothes on." Aubrey said softly.

"Good." She smiled, "I'm starving."

Harry laughed, "Yes we should."

Will laughed, "Want me to cook?"

Aubrey dressed quietly, she wasn't really sure what that all just meant.

"Yes please." Cady smiled.

Harry pulled his clothes on and announced his brother's bundle of joy to her.

Will kissed her and then went into the kitchen. He made her an omelette with tomatoes and cheese.

"Oh. That's wonderful, good for them." Aubrey smiled and said sincerely.

harry nodded, "Yes. But Will's worried about scandal."

Will smiled and kissed her forehead.

Aubrey nodded, "Not getting married I assume then?"

Harry sighed, "Cady's not ready."

Cady took a few bites and smiled.

Aubrey nodded, "can't blame her."

Will watched her. He was thinking of their child now,

Harry nodded, "Sensitive topic..."

"Yes." Aubrey said softly.

Harry smiled, "everything will work out..."

"Always does." Aubrey smiled.

"Ready to head back?" Harry asked.

She nodded.

Aubrey felt slightly awkward around Harry for the rest of the day.

"Did you enjoy dinner?" Harry asked, they had decided to go to the little French restaurant Aubrey liked. However, he noticed she was very quiet during the meal. When they returned to his room, she changed so quickly during the few moments he was in the bathroom.

"Yes. Thank you." She smiled slightly.

"Are you alright?" He asked as he climbed into bed with her.

"I'm fine. Just tired." Aubrey responded.

Harry looked at her closely, "did I upset you?"

"No dear, of course not." Aubrey gave him a soft quick kiss.

Finally Harry sighed and got comfortable.

Aubrey turned with her back towards him and fell asleep quickly.

Harry didn't sleep well at all.
