One Crown to Hold

Will silently laid on the gurney and stared up into the face of his soon-to-be fiance, Madalynn.

"That was rather stupid of you, love." She muttered as she stitched his forehead together. He winced slightly as she finished.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking." He replied simply. Lynn rolled her eyes at him.

"When do you?" She snapped. She washed her hands and looked down at her white coat. She had now been a doctor for five years. This was the first time she'd even gotten even on speckle of blood on this coat, "You're paying for this too." She threw the coat at him.

"You look so beautiful in your scrubs." He smiled. Lynn smiled bac.

"Yeah. Well, imagine what I look like without them. Go home. I'll see you later." She kissed his head, near the gash and sighed.

Will smiled. As he walked out of the hospital, he was swarmed by cameras. He dialed his brothers number, "Well, my one day wife just stitched up my head. I had a horse accident. Want to grab some food?"

"Sure, mate." Harry said, "Meet me in Camden, near the tube stop?"

"Taking public transportation? Father would not approve." William teased.

"I don't feel like calling a driver. Waste of my bloody time. Let's go to that pub with the garden upstairs." Harry said.

"You mean with the Beer Garden upstairs." He laughed.

"Yeah yeah. Beer, flowers, probably girls. It's all good." Harry laughed back.

"See you in fifteen minutes." William said as he hung up the phone.

The two brothers met at the pub and briefly hugged.

"Looks like it was more than a horse accident." Harry said as he looked at his brother's head. Will shrugged and they entered the place. Will flashed a smile.

"Will! Harry! Bout time!" Someone yelled.

They said hi to the barman who they hadn't seen in a while.

Harry noticed a dark haired girl sitting at the end of the bar glanced at them but then turned away. She caught his eye immediately.

"Beer. Food. Brotherly bonding." William reminded him, mostly to tease him when he saw Harry look at the girl.

"Right right." Harry nodded as he watched her sip her pint of Bulmers out of the corner of his eye.

Will smiled and looked around. He groaned when he saw his ex-girlfriend. She had a habit of going places often that they had frequented during their relationship.

"Wills!" She shrieked as he rushed toward him.

"I'm going to let you handle that." Harry laughed as he ditched his brother for a few minutes and moved down the bar towards the mysterious girl.

Will stared at her, " Uhm. Hi?"

"Hello. I'm Harry." he smiled at her.

"How are you?" She chirped.

"Course you are. Hi. I'm Benny." Bendetta smiled.

Will looked at his phone and sighed, "Eh...good. Waiting on a call from my girlfriend."

She looked irritated for a moment, "Oh her. Forget about her Will!"

He smiled at her, "Can I buy you another drink?"

"No." Will said then mumbled, "I'd rather forget about you."

"Okay. Sure." She nodded.

"Bulmers?" Harry asked looking at the bit of beer in the bottom of the glass. She nodded. Harry ordered two pints and turned back to her, "Do you live in London?"

"Sort of." Benny said.

"Sort of?" Harry asked.

"Well, I've been here for three months but I'm kind of passing through. I'm just kind of traveling about. Spending time here and there. I'm a writer." Benadetta explained.

Will grinned in relief when he saw Lynn's picture pop up on his phone, "There she is now! Bye!" He answered the phone, "Hey baby doll."

Harry grinned. Just his type.

"How's your head?" Lynn asked.

"What's next?" He asked and took a sip of his beer.

"I haven't decided yet. Switzerland or maybe Germany? Haven't been to either of those yet." Benny said.

Will smiled, "Perfect. Some angel stitched it up."

Lynn laughed, "I got off ten minutes ago. You with Harry?"

"Yes ma'am." Will replied as he glanced toward his brother, "I can easily ditch him."

Lynn smiled to herself, "That's fine. I'm just going to take a bath and go to bed.

"I want to go." He said perfectly serious.

"I'll come by in a little. Meet you in bed?" William said.

"You should someday. Though I bet you've already been there." Benny said.

"No, I mean I want to go with you when you leave." Harry said.

"What? Why?" She was surprised, "You don't even know me."

"I'm bored. I like to travel. You seem interesting. Exploring a city with a beautiful woman has always been a favorite pass time of mine." He smiled.

Lynn laughed, "Of course. "

"I love you." Will said softly. He waited for Lynn's reply.

"Love you." She responded.

She shrugged, "It's your choice, I suppose."

His ex girlfriend stared at him, looking annoyed.

"Prince goes MIA for a few weeks?" Harry laughed slightly, "Does seem like something I'd do."

She laughed, "I don't know if that's something I should be a part of."

"Too bad. I just decided. I'm going." Harry said.

Benny chuckled, "Is this an open negogiation?"

Harry laughed, "Nope."

"What? I never even lved you." Will snapped before he walked toward his brother.

"Where do we go first then?" She asked.

"How about Switzerland?" Harry asked, as William walked over.

Will looked slightly confused but shrugged, "I'm gonna ditch you. Lynn is about to be home."

"Okay. See ya later." Harry said.

"Enjoy." William said and nodded then left.

He hurried to reach Lynn's apartment.

"So you're just going to leave England for a while?" Benny was very skeptical but Harry nodded.

Harry simply nodded, "I'm a prince. I exude scandals. Might as well have fun."

When Will arrived at Lynn's apartment, she was laying in the bed, already fast asleep.

Benny thought for a moment, "Alright sure why not." She smiled.

Harry looked happy, "Want to leave tomorrow?"

He stripped down to his boxers and crawled into bed with her.

"Yes. But there are rules." She said.
