"Thanks." She took a sip.

"Do you mind if I finish a little work stuff up?" He asked, since it was there day together. "I'll do it here."

"No course not." Chris smiled.

"Do I really need all this?" Justin asked.

He kissed her cheek.

Cierra nodded, "Yes. It's part of the celebrity thing."

Matt grabbed his laptop and a few files. Christina did the same but with her Ph. D stuff. After 20 minutes Chris muttered, "Fuck this!"

Matthew looked up and raised an eyebrow, "Babe?"

She put her head in her hands and mumbled, "I'm not smart enough for this!"

Justin nodded. He trusted her.

Hefrowned, "Yes you are. Why would you think differently?"

Cierra smiled at him as the continued the rest of the dy.

"I don't understand this..." Chris sighed.

"Read it again, slow babe." Matthew smiled slightly.

"I read it 40 times!" She muttered.

"Then take a break. It's Ph. D work it is hard," He paused, "But you can definitely do it. Why don't you go get ready? Cierra will be here soon. I'll hop in the shower after you."

Chris sighed and nodded. She threw her books where they belonged and got into a relaxing shower.

A little while later everyone was dressed and looking good.

Matthew was opening a bottle of wine when the doorbell rang.

"Hey Cie." Chris smiled as she opened it.

Cierra smiled and gestured at Justin, "This is Justin."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Christina." She shook is hand.

Matt came to the door, "Matthew." They shook hands. "Come in and have a drink guys." He smiled.

They did so.

Matt smiled at Justin, "I would just like to say that I love your YouTube videos."

"Thanks." Justin smiled. They all sat down it was silent for a moment.

Cierra liked that Justin didn't make it an awkward silence by trying to fill it.

"How do you like New York, Justin?" Matthew asked.

"I love it!" Justin said. "You're not from here?"

"Nope. I'm english." Matt said.

Justin nodded, "I have been there once."

"Did you like it?" Matt smiled, he took pride in his country.

"It was fun!" Justin grinned.

"Glad to hear it." Matthew smiled.

"So how long have you two been together?" Justin was excellent at making conversation.

"Two years." Chris smiled.

Cierra smiled as shit listened. Her eyes were glued to her Blackberry. She was texting her dad.

"This is a blackberry free evening." Chris teased.

Cierra laughed slightly, "Fine fine. We should probaby leave fo dinne soon."

"Yeah, lets go." Matt said, his blackberry went off. Chris rolled her eyes a little when took it out but then smiled when she saw he turned it off and tossed it on the couch, "No work tonight." He an put arm around her.

"Where is this place?" Justin asked, he was still learning the city.

"On West 4th street." Chris responded, "Only like a 10 minute subway ride, you take the E train."

Three weeks later....

Cierra sat in her office. She was having a conference call when Matt walked in. She glared up at him and pointed to a chair.

When she was off the phone he said. "Just picked up the ring." He tossed her the box, "Doing it tonight, just thought you'd want to know. I'm proposing in central park, on that bench we had our first kiss on."

Cierra smiled, "That's too cute. I need a personal assistant. Sorry, I'm not trying to change the subject. I'm friggin swamped."

"That's why you have a secretary." Matt replied. He pulled the ring out and showed her.

"It's perfect. Exactly what she's always wanted." Cierra smiled.

"I hope so." Matt smiled, "Is it too big? I know she's not flashy."

Cierra grinned, "Of course not! You wanna get lunch?"

"I've got to get back to work!" Matt said as he stood.

"Keep working so much and you won't have time to get married." Cierra teased.

"Gotta pay for the ring." He winked, "Why don't you give Justin a call?"
