Wild At Heart

Emma and Annabelle laid on the warm grass looking up at the dimming Tennessee sky, another early summer day was coming to an end. That's when they heard their father call for them from the big house, "GIRLS!" They looked at each other and started on their way over.

"Yes Daddy?" Emma asked as they approached the porch. That's when they first noticed the two slightly older gentleman standing with their father, both had dark intense features and wore simple clothes.

"This is Eric Banadinovich and Bryan Greenberg." The man shook both girls hands and their father continued, "My beautiful girls Emma and Annabelle. Eric and Bryan are our new farm hands." Their father had been looking for a few new employees for a while now.

"Good evening ladies." A saughtry southern accent said coming from behind them. It was Daniel, the farm's general manager and Todd, the farm's sales representative. The girls both found them cocky and pretentious but their father thought them to be excellent matches for his daughters.

"Now run along and get changed for dinner girls. Daniel and Todd will show them to their accomadations." They nodded and walked into the house.

"Well, their rather good looking." Annabelle laughed slightly to her sister.

Daniel and Todd led the men to a smaller house where the help lived. Just before leaving they turned around and spoke.

"Oh and guys a word of advice." Daniel started.

Both men looked up, "Stay away from Mr. Thatcher's daughters." Todd finished and they walked out.

"Well, they're pleasant." Eric said sarcastically to his best friend.

Emma smirked as she led her sister to the room they shared. Her dress rustled as she shut the door, "Mr. Banadinovich is handsome."

"Emma, no. Daddy will kill you. Or them. Or both of you." Annabelle giggled.

Bryan couldn't help but laugh, "Those girls are beautiful, Eric."

Eric smiled, "I prefer that Emma one."


TWO WEEKS LATER

Emma glared as she watched Eric and her maid. She was standing in her horses' stall. Her eyes scrolled down Eric's muscled body and her glare intensified. Just as Eric was about to orgasm, she cleared her throat and walked out. Eric pulled away from the maid and turned toward Emma, grabbing a horse blanket to cover himself.

"Mr. Banadivonich, we pay you to take care of our ranch. Not screw my maids." She couldn't withold the anger and jealousy from her voice.

"Sorry madam." He said softly as he looked at her intensely. Emma shrugged.

"You are fired." She snapped at the maid. Then turning toward Eric, she said, "Get back to work."

"Yes Ma'am." Eric managed to get out as he searched around for his pants. Emma sighed and tossed them to him.

Annabelle was in the main kitchen building, away from the house. She was standing on a step stool on her tippy toes trying to reach a pot hung from the ceiling. She didn't even hear Bryan come into the kitchen with some berries for the pie she was going make.

"Here Miss Annabelle let me get that." He said as he grabbed the pot. His voice startled her and she slipped from the stool but he put the pot on the counter and caught her with his hands on her waist, keeping her upright.

"You scared me." Annabelle breathed, feeling an intense feeling where his hands were still on her.

"Oh right. Sorry Ma'am." Bryan mumbled, without realizing he was still holding her.

"No apology needed." Annabelle smiled as she turned to face him. A moment passed, "Bryan?"

"Yes Ma'am?" He said looking at her.

"You're still holding my waist." She said sweetly.

"Oh right. Sorry miss." He looked embarrassed as he pulled his hands off her. "I brought those berries you asked for." Bryan changed the subject.

"Thank you." Annabelle smiled at him. 'God he's so handsome...' She thought.

Eric couldn't help but blush as the maid stalked away, "Miss Emma, I'm sorry." He said softly, although he was looking her up and down. Emma smiled coyly and walked toward him. She placed a cool hand on his chest and ran it lower towards his belt buckle. Her hand stopped inches away and she stood on her tiptoes. She pulled him into a heated kiss and then left.

"Wait." He started to say but she was already gone.

"Uhm, thanks." Bryan said softly. Anabelle blushed when she realized that she'd thought out loud.

Eric shook his hand. "Women..." He grumbled.

Annabelle blushed and turned away and said softly, "You can go back to work. Thank you for bringing the berries."

He then smiled slightly and pulled his jeans on.

"Yes ma'am."

Just as Bryan was walking out of the kitchen door Daniel, the farms manager was walking in. "Sir." Bryan muttered and tipped his hat as he passed. Then he continued on his way to find Eric.

"Good afternoon, Miss Annabelle." Daniel smirked.

"Hello..." She said softly, she never liked Daniel much or his prying eyes. Annabelle turned around to begin baking when Daniel walked up behind her. He let his hand graze hers as he leaned over on the counter.

"How is your day?" He smiled.

"Just fine. Thank you." Annabelle said shortly.

"Put a shirt on." Bryan muttered as he walked into the barn were Eric was.

"You will NOT believe what just happened to me!" Eric exclaimed.

Daniel smiled at her, "I was wondering if you'd like to go for a ride with me."

Bryan raised an eyebrow, "The same goes for you. Put a shirt on and then tell me."

Eric laughed and looked for his shirt, "Well, I was shagging the maid girl. THEN Emma came in...and she kissed me. She wants me."

"That sounds like a great idea." Her father walked in, "Run along with Daniel."

"Alright Daddy." Annabelle smiled.

"That's insane and we're supposed to stay away from the daughters." Bryan muttered.

"Something tells me what you have to say has to do with one." Eric smirked.

Anabelle cursed silently as she followed Daniel.

Bryan nodded and recounted the encounter to his friend.

"Wow...what are we going to do?" Eric laughed.

Daniel helped her on the horse and they rode off slowly. He began speaking and Annabelle tuned him out.

"The same thing you should do. Try and stay away from her." Bryan muttered.

"Ana, didn't you hear me?" He asked again.

Eric rolled his eyes, "I'm not staying away if she comes after me. You know, she loves riding the horses...that's the only time she'll wear jeans. The only time. "

Bryan stared at Eric, "You're insane."

Anabelle shook her head, "I'm sorry. I was daydreaming. What did you say?"

"Maybe." Eric laughed.

Bryan looked out the window of the barn and saw Annabelle riding with Daniel, "What is she doing spending time with him?" He thought aloud.

"I said, I was wondering if you would like to eat dinner with my family and I."

"She hasn't got a choice, I suppose." Eric replied.

"It's a very kind offer but-"

"I think it would make your father very happy." Daniel cut her off.

"Well, he's a dick." Bryan snapped.

Emma walkeed into the men's bunk room and smiled, "Eric, could you accompany me? Father said there has been a mountain lion out where I usually ride. HE told me to get YOU to go with me. Because I suppose he doesn't think that cocky Todd could save me. ANYWAY, let's go. Please."

Eric smiled as he shot a look at his best friend, "Well, Miss Emma. I guess so. Let me get my boots on and I will meet you in the barn."

Annabelle frowned, "I will think about it."

"Very well." She smiled and before she left she added, "Oh and Bryan..."

"Yes miss?" Bryan smiled.

"I'd very much appreciate it if you'd somehow rescue my poor sister from Daniel's company." With that she left for the barn.

Daniel nodded and rambled on about himself.

Bryan looked at Eric and smiled, "That is all the incentive I need." Eric laughed and pulled on his boots and a nicer shirt.

Annabelle rolled her eyes and looked off.

Bryan thought for a moment then headed off to grab his horse. He rode up beside Daniel and Annabelle. "Excuse me miss?" Bryan said politely. Annabelle smiled as Daniel frowned. "Sorry to disturb you but the head cook's little boy is sick and Emma said you'd know what to do." He added. Daniel was too oblivious to know the head cook had two daughters and no son. Annabelle laughed on the inside.

"Oh my. Well, Daniel I suppose I'll be seeing you. I best be going to help." Before he could say a word she rode off with Bryan towards the house.

"Miss Emma?" Eric called as he entered the barn.

"I am in here." She called from on of the stalls. Emma was in the middle of changing into her blue jeans when he walked in, "Shit Eric! I said I was in here....not come in." She snapped as she hurriedly pulled them on.

He shrugged, "Sorry?"

She laughed at him, "Get your horse ready. I will get mine ready."

"So did Em send you to save me?" Annabelle asked softly as they reached one of the many meadows on her land.

Eric nodded and began doing so.

Bryan smiled and nodded, "Yes."

"Good thing." Annabelle laughed.

Within ten minutes they were on their horses, headed towards wherever it was that Emma wanted to go.

Bryan couldn't help but laugh, "Yes. So, I grabbed this picnic stuff off of his horse."

"Do you like living here?" Eric asked.

Annabelle smiled, "Oh really?" Bryan nodded. "Then we should head over to the lake. It's gorgeous."

Emma smiled, "Somewhat. I love this land...and my horses. But I don't like living with my father..."

Eric nodded, "Yes..I was the same. That's why I am here now."

Emma looked at him, "You are so breathtaking...I think this is far enough."

Annabelle smiled. She hadn't even noticed him grab it.

Eric hoped off his horse and took her hand.

They road over to the lake and got off their horses. Bryan laid down a blanket and took out the basket.

"I really didn't even see you grab it." Annabelle laughed.
