*Uhmm* Continued

Tamara and Orlando had only dated a short time before she found out she was pregnant. Unfortunately, Orlando freaked out and even threw accusations of cheating. It had been months since she had heard from him. Shae had always been in love with her best friend, Hayden. They eventually began an affair, the only problem was Shae had a boyfriend. After months of secret phonecalls and meetings, it was me or him but Shae announced she was pregnant. Hayden was so hurt by the fact that she couldn't know who the father was that he left her, telling only to contact him if it had to due with the baby. Tamara had now announced to the world that she would be taking a leave to her career. The buzz was beginning to die down but only a little and Dom was still staying with her. Shae hadn't spoken to Hayden since he threw her out of his apartment.

Tamara was sitting chatting with Dom over coffee in her apartment. The two were getting along extremely well.

"Guys, I'm going to run by Hayden's. I'm going to try and tell him I'm going to keep the baby and the rest is up to him." Shae said as she put her coat on. The pair wished her luck and began planning their day...together.

Orlando picked up The Mirrored Times, a tabloid, and glared at the cover. On it Dom was holding Tamara's hand and they looked especially chummy. He immediatley dialed Dom's number.

"What?" Dom asked curtly as he picked up.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!" Orlando shouted, "She's carrying my bloody child! I thought you were going to fix everything!"

When she knocked, Hayden opened the door and looked at her blankly.

"Oh so now you'll admit it is your baby." Dom said dryly.

"Can we talk?" Shae said softly, looking at the ground. Hayden looked at her, her three months along stomach just the tiny bit rounded. "Hayden, please." She awaited his response.

Orlando fumed as he walked, "Dominic, you are the worst friend I've ever had. You've been there for almost four months and she's still not with me! Have you even tried at all?"

Dom was slightly angry, "You know what? NO, I haven't. She wouldn't touch you with a ten-foot pole. No, make that a 60-foot pole. Why don't you mend it? I can't do that."

Orlando laughed, "You love her. You stupid sod. I'll be on the next plane. Leave her alone."

Tamara was surprised when she walked into her room and Dominic was packing his bag.

"You're leaving? But..." She looked at him questioningly.

"I don't have an explanation for you, Tams." Dom muttered. He stuffed his last thing into the bag and walked towards her. He kissed her and sighed.

Hadyn sighed and led her in, "What have you got to say?" He said.

"Please stay." Tamara grabbed his sleeve.

"It's been almost four months now and as you can see from my newly round stomach I'm keeping this baby." Shae sighed, looking around the apartment "I just thought you should know. Maybe we could work something out."

Dom looked at her sadly, "I can't love...Tams, I shouldn't tell you this but...These past few months, I've pretended that you're mine...and that the baby is mine...my boy...I think I love you and I can't stay anymore...you'll understand later. I won't be far...you have my number. We're still on for the doctor's appointment." He kissed her forehead and walked away. Tamara stared at him and felt tears well up in her eyes.

For so long, all she'd wanted was for Orlando to come back to her. Then Dom had appeared on Orlando's behalf and she didn't know that she wanted anyone but Dom.

Hayden looked at her, "You know...they've got that one test that can tell who they dad is before it's born."

"Dom, I want you." She said softly.

Shae nodded, "I know. I kind of already made an appointment for tuesday. Will you come?"

"Of course." Hayden sighed then added, "But either way it doesn't change anything with us..."

"Hayden, you know I still love you." She sighed.

"Did you know that I went to jail for beating the shit out of him?" Hayden asked her.

Dom sighed, "I want you, Tamara...but...I can't do it to Orlando. I've gotta step back."

"I read it in The Mirrored Times but I didn't know if it was true." She admitted honestly.

"Well, it was." Hayden snapped.

"You didn't need to do that." Shae said softly.

"I'm so sick of Orlando ruining everything for me!" Tamara screamed aloud.

"Please don't get stressed out." Dom said as he looked at her sadly.

Tamara glared at him, "I loved him, Dom! He left me and said I cheated. I hate him! He hasn't got a bloody chance in hell!"

"I never asked your opinion. I was just informing you." Hayden replied slowly.

"He's still my friend, Tam." Dom sighed.

"Fine." Shae said.

"If you weren't such a slut about everything I wouldn't have had to do it." Hayden was instantly mad thinking about him.

Tamara rolled her eyes, "Hm. I get it. Fine. Leave then." She turned away from him so as not to watch him leave. It surprised Tamara when she felt him take her hand.

"I love you, Tamara." Dom whispered before he left.

"Damn it, Hayden! I was trying to fix everything!" Shae snapped.

Tamara thought about chasing after him.

"Maybe I'm still really fucking pissed. Maybe I don't feel the same way about you. Maybe I don't want to fix it!" Hayden snapped and lied at the same time.

"Well, I DO!" Shae yelled.

Her pride kept her from doing just that. She waited silently for the knock on the door from Orlando.

"And I may not."

It came finally and she sighed walking slowly towards it.

"Fuck you, Hayden!" Shae snapped.

"Oh wait you already have! And two thirds of the men in Manhattan!" He pushed.

"Go to fucking hell. I hate you." She yelled.

She opened the door and Orlando pushed it opened. Abruptly, he kissed her passionatley. It wasn't until he was finished that he realized she hadn't returned the kiss.

"My God, what has he done to you?" He muttered.

"You're as handsome as ever." She replied, "And I still hate you."

"I FUCKING HATE YOU TOO!" Hayden yelled angrily.

"Tamara, I'm sorry." It was all he could really say.

"I don't even know why I came here!" Shae yelled getting ready to leave. All of a sudden there was intense pain in her stomach and she cried out as she fell to the ground. Her temperature was rising and she was getting dizy.

She laughed, "Whatever Orlando. You suck. I don't love you. I love him and you've run him off. He's a better friend that you'll ever be, you selfish prick."

"Tamara, please don't do this. I know I did you wrong but I want to be the baby's dad. I want him and I want you too."

"You can't have me, Orlando. You can be a part of the baby's life but you won't ever have me again. There is a doctor's appointment in a few days. You can go to it. For now, you can leave. Find Dom and tell him it's okay to love me." Tamara glared at him.

"Shae!" Hayden called out as he went to her.

"Do not expect me to really tell him that." Orlando glared.

"Call Tam. Leave me alone." Shae cried.

"Don't be ridiculous." Hayden lifted her into his arms, " I'm taking you to the hospital."

Tamara took a step toward him, "If you dont fix this then I swear you will hate yourself for the rest of your life."

Orlando rolled his eyes, "I love you. If he was a good friend he wouldn't have fallen for you."

"You are impossible! I can't stand you. If you were a good man you would let your friend love me! You would never have left me like you did. Damn." Tamara was very annoyed but she felt her anger leaving.

"I just want Tam." Shae protested weakly.

"I will go talk to Dom." He said dryly.

"Shhh, darling. I will call her once I get you to the hospital." Hayden whispered as he got into a cab and told the drive to hurry.

Tamara nodded at him, "Then you can sleep on the couch."

Shae didn't respond.

Hayden rushed her into the ER. The doctor's took her immediately and Hayden called Tamara and told her everything. The doctor came out to tell Hayden that Shae would be fine but she had a miscarriage. He sat for a moment with his head in his hands.

Tamara showed up twenty minutes later, "Sorry it took so long." She muttered, "If you want to go get something to eat or drink or whatever, I'll stay with her."

"No I'm fine." Hayden sighed. Shae tired awake slightly, "May I have a moment with her?" Tam looked worried but nodded. He went right over to her.

"The baby...." Shae whimpered.

"Shh..darling. It's not your fault." Hayden said as he put his hand on hers. He let her cry a few minutes then wiped away her tears, "I'm so sorry. I love you so much. Please forgive me."
