THE FLAMING SUN REWRITE

January 15, 2009:

Devan Cordell was in a car wreck two weeks ago. Billie Joe Armstrong, boyfriend of the director, was also involved. Devan was released yesterday. Although Armstrong was released the day of the wreck, Cordell's ex-husband was the one to pick her up. Orlando Bloom and Cordell share a son, Jonathan Issac Bloom. The Flaming Sun is left to wonder WHY exactly it was Bloom picking her up. Perhaps there is something behind the wreck that none of us have been told. Perhaps, Armstrong is back on the drugs and is abusive towards


"Why are they always able to come up with this shit?" Orlando Bloom snapped as he slamed the tabloid on the table. His son, Jonathan, who had been half asleep jumped away.

"Jeez Dad. I dunno. Ask 'em." Jonathan said with a large yawn, "Mum's going to be here soon, right?"

"Yeah...Jon, I know that you have not seen her yet...it's bad. Your mum looks like she's been to hell and back. That man hit her before she wrecked...." Orlando trailed off and sounded rather sad. Jonathan placed his hand on his father's hand.

"Dad, it's over. She's not going back to him this time." He said softly before he picked up the tabloid, "This is trash. You're the one always telling me that."

Orlando sighed, "You're only eleven. How can you be so smart?"

[Admin]

"The youth know everything." He said simply.

"I'm driving you there!" Stella stated matterofactly as she opened the passenger's side door. "And that's the last time I'm telling you." Devan finally sighed at her sister and got in the car. They'd be at Orlando's in ten minutes.

Orlando laughed softly, "You're going to do well in this business."

Devan looked at herself in the visor and sighed. She had two black eyes, only one of which was caused by the wreck.

"I know." He smiled.

"Excited?" Stella asked, breaking the silence.

[Cierra1989]

Orlando sighed and glanced at the clock, "I really can't believe you're already 11. I remember the first time I held you."

"Aw Dad. Stop the mushy stuff." He laughed.

"About what?" Devan asked with a slight smile.

"You know what!"

"Yes. I'm excited to be with Orlando again. The sex is wonderful." Devan laughed.

[Admin]

There was a knock on the door. It was Gerard Bulter, a friend of Orlando's. He didn't realize he was stopping by at a bad time. He was just dropping off a script.

"I meant your son. Slut." Stella was just kidding.

Devan laughed, "Yes, I'm a huge slut. I'm excited about him getting into acting...somewhat."

"Hey Gerard." Orlando said as he let him in.

[Admin]

"Hey man." He smiled. Stella and Devan pulled up.

"Whose that guy?" Stella asked.

"Beats me." Devan shrugged.

Orlando smiled at Devan, "Hey you two. This is Gerard. Gerard, this is Dev and Stella."

[Admin]

"Nice to meet you." Gerard shook both ladies hands. Stella couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. "I was just dropping off this script. It's not bad but I think it needs another revision."

"Why don't you have a look at it with Stella? She's a writer." Orlando offered. That way Devan, Orlando, and their son could have a little time alone but he wouldn't be being rude to his guests. "It's gorgeous outside. Have a seat in the courtyard."
