Milania glared at her mentor as she shoved the chart in his face once more, "Doctor Shepherd! You know you can fix her!"

He glared at her, "Milania, told me you had a baby's spine for me to check. You failed to mention she's premature and was born addicted to neurotics! She won't survive spinal surgery."

"You don't know that." She pushed.

"Doctor Caccola! Do not get attached. I am the head of neurosurgery in this hospital and I am telling you she's not strong enough. Even if she survived surgery, look at this chart! She has a whole host of other problems. I understand how you feel but my answer is no."

"You're just frightened. I know it's difficult but-"

He cut her off, "I said my answer is no. Now PLEASE get me those lab results I needed an hour ago."

"Fine!" She grabbed the baby's chart from him and rushed off.
